Last week, Nvidia posted their quarterly earnings and while their earnings were up 71%, the market did not react very kindly to that figure. Why?
Since Nvidia has been leading the S&P 500 higher the last couple of years, we must naturally ask ourselves, "If the party at Nvidia is over, will Nvidia now lead the stock market lower?"
Overall, it's been a tough start to the year and we are seeing some discouraging signs in the small-cap stocks. If small companies are the lifeblood of our economy, so far, it's been more of a blood bath in the small cap stock universe.
These are all reasons why we believe in actually ACTIVELY managing client assets. We have no idea what is going to happen. As a result, we remain tactical - always vigilant.
