Today is the last trading day of the month. While May has been generally good for the broad market, today the market is facing a critical test. As we publish this, it appears that the broad market will close below key levels ... unless we see a strong afternoon session.

From the Atlanta Federal Reserve, we take a brief look at the GDPNow estimate. At the moment, it looks good ... but we will update this stat in next week's video to see if today's update changes anything.

Finally, we take a look at long-term bonds and discuss why you may want to rethink how much you are relying on bonds as a portfolio stabilizer ... especially in an unmanaged 401(k).
