30 Percent Decline in Store?

March 17, 2025

In our last video, we discussed "Cash is King". Well, since then, someone reached out and asked us what we would do with the cash that was created from defensive measures.

Keep in mind, that we are discussing cash inside an investment portfolio. We are not talking about your emergency Cash Reserves - the cash that you would depend on if you were laid off work, etc. As a result, in this regard, cash is a position in the portfolio. We are simply advocating that, in certain environments, it may be appropriate to increase your allocation to cash - sometimes dramatically.

But should you shift that cash to a brokered CD inside your portfolio?

We also got a question from someone asking us to analyze another YouTuber's stock market prediction. In short, this other YouTuber - who has thousands of subscribers - is predicting that the NASDAQ will go down 30%. In today's short video, we discuss whether or not we concur with that prediction.
